A European project to support rural tourism

As a local development advisor in a rural area, you may be working for agricultural institutions, local public services or communities, promoting and facilitating the implementation of collective projects characterised by :
 Very strong involvement of farmers and other rural producers
 The establishment of a local network linking tourism providers, farmers, craftsmen and women, tourist guides, cultural sites and other activities related to tourism

The PROTOUR project, developed by seven European partners, has laid the basis for the establishment of an action and training network for rural tourism and sustainable agritourism. In this web site you will find :
