Operational objectives are to increase development agents’ professional skills and to improve their services for entrepreneurs, but also in the medium term to develop the competences of tourism providers.
In order to answer our target group’s needs, the partnership has decided to work on the conception and implementation of a “suitcase” aimed at these two types of final users.
The first part of our work consisted of :
Making an analysis of each territory involved in the project, in order to identify its specific features, advantages and drawbacks, and useful practice already implemented.
Identifying entrepreneurs’ expectations in term of the accompaniment needed.
Making a matrix of advisers and development agents’ tasks and activities in relation to the competences and skills required.
In the second part we produced a modular training curriculum that was tested with local groups.
As a result of these activities we are offering you this “suitcase” containing the following products :
The programme of the training course with an overview of the curriculum and topics studied.
Introductions to each module with advice on how to deliver the course.
Methodological advice for running the training course.
Pedagogic material and tools dedicated to trainers (PowerPoint presentations) and learning material to be used with trainees, including exercises, frameworks and working matrix, training models, suggestions for role play, etc.)
A bibliography to extend knowledge on specific topics.
An evaluation form to be completed by training course participants.
